HOME SLEEP TEST INSTRUCTIONS

TEST TIPS
IF YOU TAKE MEDICATIONS… Take them as you normally do... it's perfectly fine.
MAKE SURE YOU GET TO BED ON TIME… Sometimes people fall asleep watching TV on the couch and before they know it it’s 3 am. Don’t let that happen to you. Perhaps set an alarm as a reminder?
THE DEVICE WILL WORK ON EITHER HAND… Most righties put it on their left hand... that way you can use your "dominant" hand if you wake up at night.
PLACE YOUR FINGER ALL THE WAY INTO THE PROBE… Place finger all the way in but don't use excessive force. Once you put the probe on your finger and remove the tab, leave it in that position. You should not readjust it or take it off until the test is over… it breaks the seal and will void the test.
DO NOT GET IT WET… Don't wash your hand or bathe with the device on.
IF YOU WAKE UP DURING THE NIGHT… Do what you normally do to try and get back to sleep. It’s OK to stand up or use the restroom and then go back to sleep. We need a total of at least 4 hours of sleep time to have a reliable test.
DO NOT TURN THE POWER OFF ON THE WatchPAT IN THE MORNING… Just take the equipment off and put it back in the case with the Step by Step Guide.
